Jade, I love you. Ever since I first heard your incredible voice in “Home” I knew my heat belonged to you. Your classic 60’s look blended oh-so perfectly with your adorable hair cut and those amazing, worn-in moccasins you were perfectly. Click for the continuation.
Jade Castrinos who joins with Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic zeros combines vocals, guitar and drums into groups amazing sound. After breaking up with his girlfriend, moving out of his house, and joining a 12-step program for addiction, Alex Ebert, lead singer of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, began work on a story about a messianic figure named Edward Sharpe. According to Ebert, Sharpe “was sent down to Earth to kinda heal and save mankind…but he kept getting distracted by girls and falling in love.” Ebert later met singer Jade Castrinos in Los Angeles. In the summer of 2009, as Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Ebert and Castrinos toured the country with a group of fellow musicians in a big white school bus. I would have loved to rode along.
Jade combines extremely simple, dusty, grass-stained style that is signature to any summer. With her hair long, she reminds us of a young Joan Baez. We love her feathers, choice of hats and hand-me-down dresses that she wears so well. And that jump suit you’re wearing in the last image…can we borrow that sometime?
