Designed in 1992 by Dietrich Lubs for Braun and supposedly “out of production” but still readily available… the Braun AB7 is a simple quartz clock that has a super clean design, and is a much more stylish and reliable alternative to that plugged in iPhone by your bed. I picked this up last week to add to my desk/workspace, which needed a revitalization this winter and I’m excited to take a peek every once in awhile at the great design. I love the simple on/off switch and the two knobs in the back control the time and the alarm setting, that’s it. Drop in a AA battery and this thing should keep accurate time for a lifetime…
