The street style shots from Pitti Uomo are always a huge hit on the Internet… not only withthe blog set, but all the mainstream sites select the best images and dissect the style of the Italian and otherworldly gents perusing the garb from the Menswear Megatron trade show. These are some of my favorite shots, and a little of what I picked up on and may stealfrom each of them… after all, we all steal, I just admit it. *Top picture is an amazing photograph, love the glare from the window.
1.) This look I’m drawn to obviously because of the Canon 5D, but of his outfit I like how even though he’s wearing a lot of natural colors, he’s smart enough to work in a hint of texture with the wool jacket, and a pop of color from the scarf. Well done.
2.) Simple, well cut, great denim shirt, and that pocket square is the final detail. Clean.
3.) Love this look, not trying to hard, easy pieces mixed and matched and I tend to do this often… which is hid my patterns with solids. The patterned flannel is tucked nicely under a bright blue caridgan and then wrapped in a navy twill sport coat. Blue on blue on blue, it all works because they are far enough away from each other… and a tie would of course been too much, so the white pocket square is smart.
