Last weekend, you should have been in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was a rare occasion of musical talents joining forces to create one hell of a cover. Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, Sharon Van Etten and Richmond’s own, Fight the Big Bull, got together for a special rendition of Alan Lomax’s Tribulations. The artists were part of the MusicNow festival in Cincinatti during the performance of Sounds of the South, an evening of re-imagining of Alan Lomax’s songs from his early travels in the south.
