Fall naturally brings out whisky drinking, knit gloves and pumpkin bread music. To us, that sound is made up of beautiful voices, banjos, guitars and the twang of the country. Unless you’re a history buff or live in a very particular part of the world, you probably have no clue what a “battery kinzie” is. It’s really an old fort built in Fort Worden, Washington. It’s also the second track on Fleet Foxes latest album, Helplessness Blues, with a wonderful sound, great drums, depth and a bit of peacefulness.
