Matt, the builder, designer and tinkerer behind the brand Wood&Faulk, started out sharing his ideas, thoughts and projects on his blog with its namesake. Wood&Faulk became his chosen moniker after two streets he lived on while living in Kansas,Woodrow and Faulkner. While living there, he learned a lot about working on old houses, building furniture, plumbing, electrical, working on cars, wood projects, metal projects et al. Now, Matt lives in Portland, Oregon, in a 103-year-old house with a little shop in the back, which he is still continually tinkering in.
Matt decided to release a series of bags to help transition his blog into a site which would retain the same standards the blog evokes, but also sell bags, belts, books and more. The new series of bags, launched back in May, is the Northwesterner Series. The bags are made with Martexin Original Waxed water-repellant canvas and fine leathers, which are sturdy as ever, and sure to last long enough for even the next generation to enjoy. Matt was inspired by the colors and the climate of the Pacific Northwest. The classic styling of the bags are perfect for any situation.
The bags are available in 16″ and 20” here. All of them come with matching straps.
