Phantogram’s newest EP, Nightlife, is amazing. Not a single track is alike. Once again, Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter have created music that is almost impossible to give a genre label to. The only way to describe their sound is, really good. Nightlife, takes the duo’s previous sounds and tweaks them, refines them, and serves them up in an entirely new plate. We might be listening to the same things, but we would never know it. You could easily say that this EP holds some of the duo’s best songs to date.
