Everybody Taste just released their “Best of 2011 EP and Vinyl Singles” list and at the top of the charts is Allah-Las. The L.A. based garage/psych group recorded their two-track 7″ with Nick Waterhouse specifically for vinyl and you can really hear it as soon as the needle hits. “Catmaran 7″ plays true to the vibes that inspired it. They’re everything you want surf rock group to be and it’s hard not to move your hips when you hear ‘em. Music like this might not belong in the winter, but we really don’t care.
