Where do we even start? Haim is a trio of beautiful sisters producing music that you seriously can’t stop listening to. The Los Angeles-based sisters (Danielle, Alana, and Este Haim) are packed with groove, great bass, and a wonderful sound that is literally addictive. If you were to put Stevie Nicks, Cyndi Lauper, and Heart into one brightly painted van and have a sing along, they would sound something like this. The coolest part about them is that they’ve done a great job of staying low on the radar, doing most of their “getting around” simply by word of mouth. What’s even cooler is that they started out playing guitar and percussion in their family band, “Rocking Haim,” with the sisters along with their parents rocking together until 2006.
