Don’t be scared of these. Most eyewear is boring- these are far from that. Founded in 2009 by Daniel Silberman and born-and-raised New Yorker Jus Ske, Illesteva is handmade in Italy and Germany, in concert with the world’s leading manufacturers of eyewear. The duo push normal boundaries of design by exploring fresh shapes and materials like acetate, bamboo, titanium and natural buffalo horn with each new frame design.
Drawing from their downtown lives as well as their backgrounds in design, music, fashion, and photography, Silberman and Ske have created a brand of classic timeless pieces, meant to last a lifetime.
