We recently had the opportunity to chat with NYC based director Jake Davis (Nike, Supreme, Kanye West and a slew of other clients and collaborations) about his personal style, and who better really? With his laid back, yet refined approach to tackle Summer style, you can’t go wrong. Just read for yourself!
How would you classify your personal style?
JD: Classless
What’s something you’d consider a part of your wardrobe that’s more like a uniform/go-to piece?
JD: Dad jeans. That’s my go-to summer piece.
What do you look forward to doing most this summer, and how will your style reflect it?
JD: I’d like to travel a bit more and have experiences outside the realm of NYC without any discrimination. I’m not really sure what that will look like style-wise but probably pretty effortless.
What’s most important to you when you are making a new purchase?
JD: At this point I think if it’s a product that’s going to stand the test of time. Some things are obviously more disposable and of the moment than others, but for the most part I want to it to last.
