Personal Style: Adriana Pellegrini

Our old friend Adriana is a former Need Supply Co employee, having worked in the shop before moving to New York City a few years ago. Adriana has always been one to think twice about, with the ability to put together looks that really have something to say, but say it in the most understated and eloquent way. We caught up with her to see how her personal style has grown, and where she finds fashion inspiration.

Describe your personal style in three words:

AP: Eclectic, balanced, evolving.

Who are your style icons?

AP: Lauren Hutton, Rihanna, and Meryl Streep in the 70′s.

What is the one item in your closet you can’t live without?

AP: Currently, I cannot live without Sephora’s It Girl lipstick. It’s the perfect shade of bright red, appropriate all year round, and looks good on every skin tones. I’m working on my 3rd tube.

What one movie/book/album, etc personifies your style best?

AP: Anyone who knows me knows I can’t get enough of musicals; I grew up watching all the classics, but my all time favorite is An American in Paris (1951) starring Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron. I’d like to think that my style can be as dynamic and fun as watching this movie is for me.

Thanks Adriana!
