We just stumbled across this little gem of a Friday that we’ve already got on repeat. Trails and Ways is an Oakland, CA based quartet that layers sounds and vocals nearly perfect. Their newest track, “Mtn Tune” provides thoughts of an endless road trip through the west with sun rays and swimming holes at every stop.
The band started in 201o when two roommates began playing at friends’ parties, quickly experimenting with various sounds and discovering their own. The two roommates were soon joined by vocalist Emma Oppen and Hannah Van Loon to create an even more relaxed feel in the studio and on stage.
