It’s by no means a “new song”, especially in the days of hit singles being pumped out like Elmer’s glue in the hands of a five year old, but Natural Child’s Derek’s Blues from Hard in Heaven, is just so good. Just wait until around 4:20 when the jam session really starts. If you didn’t know better, you’d think you were in your dad’s parent’s garage in the 70s.
Natural Child has already crisscrossed the country playing just about every type of venue you can imagine. They’ve released two full-length albums on Burger Records and in our opinion, just kick ass. Is legit rock-n-roll on the comeback, or are these guys just teasing us? Either way, we’re thankful for it and we’d love to hear some more.
