Sweden’s Carin Wester graduated from Beckman’s School of Design, and started her own brand in 2003. Carin has since become known for her clean and classic take on feminine silhouettes and easy Swedish styling, and has picked up numerous fashion award nominations. The Carin Wester Label develops the philosophy of a modern elegance to dress everyday’s people with sharpness and attitude.
Since the launching of the brand, Carin has been awarded “Newcomer of the year” by Swedish Elle Magazine (2004), was nominated “designer of the year” (2005) by Elle Magazine, as well as becoming one of the finalists in Ernst & Young’s “Female Starlet of the Year 2008″. In August 2009, she won the prestigious prize “Guldknappen” from Swedish magazine Damernas Värld.
