There are a million photographers out there, and in a sense, most all have some great aspects. It’s pretty hard to do something these days that stands out and is worth taking a second look at. German photographer Sebastian Mader has certainly made me take a second look – literally, I’ve looked at everything I could in each image. They’re wonderful.

I checked out his website, not much there besides a bunch of amazing images he’s shot for well-known publications such as Interview Magazine and Vogue. If you click his “about” section, it simply reads:
“Sebastian is a German Photographer and Film Maker based in New York. Mader was Steven Klein’s Lighting Director for 5 years.”

From looking at this images you can tell that he knows how to work the lights. His work in fashion has this amazing balance of color and light. Almost 90′s in a sense without being labeled as that.
