While at a yard sale the other day, I came across a huge selection of vintage cookbooks. The old pictures were stylish and lovely to look at, but the recipes themselves, naturally, were the main attraction. It’s common knowledge that casseroles were king in the ’50s, and fondue was a favorite in the ’70s, but what else did people prepare for dinner parties gone by? As total lovers of all things food, today we thought we dive into some old cookbooks and find out.
